| Statement of Purpose:
In conjunction with the college's mission of providing an education
to a non-racially identifiable student body, the Department of
Admissions and Registration Services, through the assessment of
admissions credentials and enrollment certifications ensures access to
Walters State without regard to race, gender, religion, national
origin, age, disability, or veteran status. This department
oversees and conducts the data entry of all admissions related
materials and makes placement determinations regarding the
developmental studies program. It is also responsible for the notification
to students regarding their acceptance to Walters State. The
department of Admissions and Registration Services also handles the
registration activities on the main campus, as well as processing the
information from the branch locations.
