Rhon'Neisha Taylor
3rd Team All-American
Rhon'Neisha had an outstanding career during her time at Walters State. She scored 20 points in the Region 7 Championship game to lead Walters State to victory. She was named to the Region 7 All-Tournament Team and was honored at the NJCAA National Tournament by earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. She was named 3rd Team All-American and helped lead the Lady Senators to a perfect regular season record of 27-0, and a 33-1 overall record with a 5th place finish in the nation.
LaKrystle Goss
1st Team All-American
LaKrystle had an outstanding freshman year at Walters State. She was named Eastern Conference Regular Season MVP, as well as Region 7 Tournament MVP. She had 26 points in the Region 7 Championship game. She led the nation in steals with 158 and was named 1st Team All-American. She helped lead the Lady Senators to a 27-0 perfect regular season, 33-1 overall record, and 5th place finish in the nation.
2007-2008
Dana Garrett
2nd Team All-American
The St. George (S.C.) native was second on the team in scoring at 12 points a game while leading the team with 7.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
Garrett shot 50.6 percent from the field and was named MVP of the TJCCAA Eastern Division and the Region VII tournament while sharing the TJCCAA co-MVP award. She signed with Middle Tennessee State University.
Brittany Mikels
Academic All-American
She played only one year at Walters State, but it was an unforgettable year. Brittany was a big factor in helping Walters State win the Eastern Division Championship as well as the Region 7 Tournament. The team record for 07-08 was 30-6
2004-2005
Cortney Brown
1st Team All-American
A forward/center from Memphis, Cortney helped her team achieve the best regular season win-loss record (26-3) in Lady Senator history. She was a key figure in team’s TJCCAA/NJCAA Region VII championship and eighth place finish in the NJCAA national Championship Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. Cortney was named to the all-tournament team in the TJCCAA/NJCAA Region VII tournament. She led the team in scoring with 432 points for an average of 12 points per game and nearly six rebounds per game. She signed with University of South Alabama.
Brittany Frazier
Honorable Mention All-American
A forward from Oak Ridge, Brittany led the team in rebounds with 225 for an average of 6.25 per game. She averaged 10.7 points per game in scoring. She was named to the All-Tournament team in the TJCCAA/NJCAA Region VII tournament and helped the 2004-05 team to the championship. She also played a major roll in the team’s eighth place finish in the NJCAA national tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. She signed with the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
2000-2001
Amanda Boles
Academic All-American
Amanda, a center, was not only a fierce competitor on the court but in the classroom as well. She averaged 10.8 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game. Her leadership on the court paved the way to an Eastern Division co-championship. Her dedication to academics led to one of the highest GPA in the history of Lady Senator’s basketball. She signed with Gardner-Webb University.
Kara Caldwell
Academic All-American
Kara, a center, was recognized for her performance as a student as well as an athlete. Kara juggled the strenuous schedule of athletics and managed to maintain one of the highest grade point averages of any Lady Senator. On the court she averaged just over seven points per game and nearly five rebounds per game. Kara signed with Carson Newman.

Scealita Drennon
3rd Team All-American
Scealita was a pre-season 3rd Team All-American and an Honorable Mention NJCAA All-American as well as a Smith & Street Honorable Mention.
Alison Bach
3rd Team All-American
Alison was a 3rd Team All-American and a Smith & Street 3rd.
Made the winning shot that put the team into National Tournament in 1999.

Joanie Mungro
All-American
Joanie was the first two-time All-American. She was also the first two time MVP for the state. She is the Lady Senators all time leader scorer.
Cheri McNeil
Honorable Mention All-American
Cheri was an Honorable Mention All-American as well as Street & Smith All-American. She is the Lady Senator all time steal leader.

Joanie was the first two-time All-American. She was also the first two time MVP for the state. She is the Lady Senators all time leader scorer.
1992-1993
Jenny Rippetoe
Academic All-American
Jenny graduated Walters State with a 3.7 grade point average which earned her academic All-American honors. "Rip," as she was nicknamed, is the Lady Senators career leader in three-point baskets with 68.
1991-1992
Tiffany Booker
Honorable Mention All-American
Tiffany overcame a severe high school knee injury to become one of the best players to wear a Lady Senators uniform. Tiffany was the "money player" during the state and region championship drives and led the team to an eighth place finish in the national tournament in 1992. She is the all-time career scoring leader (993 points), field goal shooter (378), and shot blocker (98). Tiffany is also second in rebounding with 521.
Pam Bettis
Honorable Mention All-American
Pam was named a junior college All-American by Street and Smith Magazine. Pam supplied much of the leadership that helped the Lady Senators win two conference championships, a regional title and finish eighth in the national tournament in 1992. During her two years at Walters State, the Lady Senators were 53-11 and set a school record for the most wins in a single season with 29 in 1992. She is second in career scoring with 883 points.
Tammy Shelton
Honorable Mention All-American
Tammy was an All-American point guard according to Street and Smith Magazine. Shelton was the "blue collar worker" of the national tournament team. She led by example and made three key steals in the final minutes of the 1992 region championship game. Tammy is second in career assists with 143.
1985-1986
Rhonda Woodruff
2nd Team All-American
Rhonda is the best athlete to have ever worn a Lady Senators uniform. She led her teammates by example giving 110% every time she stepped on the basketball floor. The 6' post-player average 20 points and 10 rebounds a game while shooting 60% from the floor. Coach Dave Kragel called her "an All-American in every sense of the word."
1984-1985
Rhonda Thompkins
Rhonda possessed all the skills needed to be a great basketball player. At 6'3", Rhonda was a physical intimidator near the basket who could also handle the basketball as well as any guard on the team. During her sophomore season, Rhonda averaged scoring nearly 17 points a game, grabbed an average of nine rebounds a game and shot 60% from the field.
