Larry SaucemanLady Senators softball coach Larry Sauceman is entering his 13th season at Walters State, but his connection to the college was established two decades ago.
The Greene County native was a key member of the 1983-84 Senators baseball team that reached the Junior College World Series and finished the year as the nation's fifth-ranked team.
Before he arrived at Walters State, Sauceman spent one year as head baseball coach at Tusculum College. He also spent several seasons as a professional softball player, earning All-American honors with the Georgia-based and nationally-ranked Lighthouse team.
In 13 seasons at WSCC, Sauceman has compiled a 502-230 record.
