Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Walters State Community College, the Walters State Center for Workforce Development and the Smoky Mountains Area WIA Board are receiving a substantial investment from the federal government to create and save jobs, and aid individuals affected by the recession. This investment is providing services through the Tennessee Career Centers and related Youth Services.
