The Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts has announced its fall schedule of special events. These events give area residents the chance to enjoy gourmet faire prepared by students at affordable prices. Proceeds from the events go back into the Institute.
All events are inside the Conner-Short Center on the college’s Sevier County Campus.
Special events planned during fall semester are:
Sept. 10, 6 p.m. – Classical French Cuisine, Parisian Brasserie featuring Beef Bordelaise, $18
Oct. 8, 6 p.m. – Classical French Cuisine, Alsatian Menu featuring Choucroute Garnie, $18
Oct. 19, 10 a.m. – Breakfast, $15
Nov. 5, 6 p.m. – International Cuisine Cucina Italiana, $18
Nov. 16, 11:30 a.m. – Stuffed Duxelles Chicken with Supreme Sauce, $15
Nov. 21 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Thanksgiving Lunch, $20
Nov. 26, 6 p.m. – International Cuisine, A Journey Through Asia, $18
Guests are also welcome to dine at the Mountain Rose Bistro, located in the Conner-Short Center on the Sevier County Campus.
