Enjoy Holiday Concert Dec. 7

Walters State invites area residents to get in the spirit of the season with the Music and Theatre Department’s Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 on the Morristown campus. The concert will held in the theatre of the Judge William H. Inman Humanities Complex. 
This concert features performances by the Community Chorale, the Walters State Men’s Ensemble, the Walters State Women’s Ensemble, the Concert Choir and the Sensations Chamber Ensemble. Each group will perform several Christmas songs, including traditional carols like “O Come, Emmanuel” and “Go Tell It On The Mountain.” Selections also include contemporary favorites like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Merry Christmas, Darling.”
The program is directed by Laura Ritter, director of choral programs and assistant dean of Humanities at Walters State. Logan Haggard is the conductor and Deborah Sanders is the accompanist.
Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door. Walters State students will be admitted free.
