Walters State Community College and Encore Theatrical Company present “A Musical Theatre Movement Workshop” on Feb. 16. This workshop is designed to teach basic dance steps and movement appropriate for a musical theatre audition.

“Come learn what it takes to show directors your best,” said Laura Ritter, associate dean of humanities and head of the choral department at Walters State. The workshop will be led by Tara and Justin Kirk.

The workshop is just $20 and is broken into two age groups. From 9-11 a.m. is reserved for kindergarten through eighth grade. Ninth grade through college will meet  from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
