Use a Social Resume to Land a Job!
May 6, 2013

Do you have a social resume? These are becoming a necessity in today’s job market.  Learn how to create one and use it to promote your skills during a free workshop Wednesday, May 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Walters State Community College. The workshop is free and will be in room 110 of the Clifford H. “Bo” Henry Center for Business and Technology on the Morristown campus.

“Having a social resume is really a necessity in today’s job search. This is a great way to establish and promote your personal brand and get noticed by employers,” said Connie O’Vercum, director of the college’s Center for Workforce Education.

Amy Shrader will lead the workshop. A realtor with United County Clinch Mountain Realty and Auction in Bean Station, Shrader uses her own social resume in marketing or real estate listings and attracting new sellers.

Reservations are appreciated. To make a reservation, contact O’Vercum at (423) 318-2341 or Connie.O’Vercum@ws.edu.
