Orientation and registration for Walters State’s next College Express, Pre-Allied Health will be from 4-5:30 p.m. on July 18. This program meets one night a week (two nights for classes that have labs). Class begins Aug. 20.
Students can complete pre-requisites for nursing, respiratory care and pre-physical therapy in only a year.
Students who currently have already earned the EMT or paramedic certificates can complete the requirements of an associate of applied science degree in a year.
In order to register that night, students must have completed the Walters State application, which is available at any campus or online. The application carries a one-time fee of $10. Some paperwork for the program is also required prior to July 18.
