The Career Center at Sevierville will host an “Ex-Offender Job Readiness Workshop” on Nov. 1 from 10 a.m.-noon.

•Job Readiness Basic (job search, resumes and cover letters, interviewing techniques, impressive applications) – Nov. 6 or Nov. 20, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
•Computer Literacy Electronic Spreadsheet – Nov. 6, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
•Computer Literacy Mouse Practice – Nov. 13, 9-9:30 a.m.
•Computer Literacy – Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
•Computer Literacy Electronic Note Management – Nov. 20, 2-4 p.m.
•Computer Literacy E-Mail Basics – Nov. 26, 10:30 a.m.-noon

Workshops are free to individuals. The Center is located in the Alpha Square Shopping Center next to Fred’s on Andrew Johnson Highway (11E) in Talbott. The Center serves the following counties: Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Hancock, Jefferson, Sevier and Union counties. All workshops are funded by an agreement between Walters State Community College and the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
