Hey Class of 2014: the priority deadline to apply for spring 2014 graduation is Nov. 15. What’s a priority deadline and why should you meet it?
Students who file a request-for-graduation-evaluation form by Nov. 15 will receive a degree audit before spring semester begins. This audit is simply a list of the courses needed to earn your certificate or degree.
The priority deadline will spare students unpleasant surprises – a missing elective, for example. With the priority deadline for spring graduation, you learn this information while you still have time to drop classes you don’t need and add the classes you do.
The priority deadline is also expected to save students time and money, as rising graduates take exactly what is needed.
The form is simple and is available online in the Student Records Office (U127 in the Student Services Building) on the Morristown campus or in administrative offices at other campuses. Have questions? Call Student Records at (423) 585-2693 or e-mail Rebecca Livesay, coordinator of graduation analysis, at Rebecca.Livesay@ws.edu.
