QuickPay Deferred Payment Plan
Walters State Community College has partnered with NelNet Business Solutions (NBS) to offer WSCC students a deferred payment plan to assist with the "tuition and fee" cost of enrolling in college course(s). Students owing tuition and fee charges greater than $200.00 may elect to use the deferred payment plan.
The QuickPay deferred payment plan is an "automatic payment plan" offered by NBS. To participate in the payment plan, there is a non-refundable fee of $25.00 each semester. The payment plan allows students to pay a down payment plus a $25.00 enrollment fee and then pay the remaining balance in Installments. See payment plan options below. Balances are adjusted due to the dropping/adding of courses and the awarding of assistance. However due to timing issues, balances may not be adjusted prior to the date when payment is due. Because of this, WSCC is not responsible for overdraft charges due to insufficient funds in the student/responsible party's account. All tuition and fees are paid first before students receive any refunds.
The responsible party for payment must supply a valid bank account and routing information or a valid credit card (MasterCard/Visa/Discover) during the application process. NBS automatically deducts or charges payments to the responsible party's account according to the due dates (information provided in the application process). The student/ responsible party needs to read all information in the application process carefully.
Down payments or enrollment fees not successfully processed terminates the deferred payment plan. Students may attempt to successfully enroll up to the close date for the open term. If a student's down payment or enrollment fee is returned after the QuickPay deferrment plan enrollment period has expire, students are notified via certified mail and will be granted 10 days to pay tuition/fees in full or be administratively withdrawn from all class(es).
Students who fail to make installments in compliance with their agreement will not be allowed to participate in a deferred payment plan in the future semesters.
Enroll in Deferred Payment Plan
To enroll in a deferred payment plan, the student must:
- Log into their StarNET account
- Under the Student Menu, select STUDENT ACCOUNT
- Select QuickPay ( DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN)
This connects the student to the QuikPay site to enroll in a payment plan. Read all information carefully.
